Story :

AppalaRaju (Sunil) lives in Amalapuram who is passionate about movies and had a big dream of becoming a great director in Tollywood. With that dreams he came to hyderabad and determined to direct one movie. To direct a movie first he wants to write a story. so for that he starts understanding and analyzing every directors methodology and their movies, how they  make films and how they narrate the story and this is how it goes on…

One fine day he prepared one heroine oriented script and spoke with so many producers in tollywood and no one is ready to do movie with him. Why because they want movie with masala and over action. Finally, Appalaraju convinced one Financier Masthan (Dharmavarapu Subramanyam) and his assistant is Rakhi (Ravibabu). Masthan tells Appalaraju to first finalize the cast and crew then he is ready to finance to this movie.

With in two days Appalaraju finds the best cast and crew to his movie except Heroine. Now he starts hunting the heroine to his script and he approaches Kovai Sarala mother of Kanishka (Skashi Gulabi). Krishna Reddy (Colors Swathi) is also joined in Appalaraju team as a Assistant Director. So, finally Appalaraju had a team to direct a movie. Other assistant directors are ms narayana, suman shetty. Now onwards real cinema will start.

INTERMISSION

Srisailam Anna (Brahmanandham) is a serious comedy under wear don in old city who wants to take tollywood under his control.

Rehman Sarma (Ali) is agreed to compose the music to Appalaraju movie but more over he concentrated on heroine not on music composing. Sunil tries to kept all his team in one way and ready to start the movie.

Unexpected entrance and role in this cinema Subramanyam (Maaraja Raviteja) who is stuggling actor to get a chance in one film came from Amalapuram. Sunil promised to Subramanyam that he will give life to him with Bevarse movie (controversy on Idiot). He kept movie name as “Nayaki” Heroine oriented movie. and at the same time sunil rivals also started movie because he had some clashes with sunil and producer.

Finally SUnil Completes the movie and releases the movie.On the same day sunil rivals also released the movie. But Sunil “Nayaki” movie sweeps the prestigious “Gurram” awards.

Analysis :

Sunil as a struggling director character shows how young directors struggling to get offers and how they are suffering with producer and actors to complete the movie . He has given an excellent on screen presence. No doubt this movie will help sunil in his hero career.

Colors Swathi just for songs and some scenes she is there. Even Skashi character also not that much and she must work out on acting side. Sakshi had body talent not actong talent.

When coming to remaining character first credit goes to Kovai Srala. Kovai sarala plays mother to heroine and story narration to kovai sarala’s character creates huge huge laughs in theater. After a long time she entertained the telugu audience with Mummy character.

Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Ali, Venu Madhav, MS Narayana, Kota Srinivas Rao, Ravindra all are done their roles like adding comedy to cinema.

Technical Analysis :

Koti Music is like Full bottle wine in Quarter bottle….less voice more music with stupid background music.

Cinematography by Sudhakar Yakkanti is looks good.

Director tries to do more but he failed in narrating the story in correct way. Screenplay in second half tests the audience. But one thing is correct that once again Ram Gopal Varma proves that he is the one and only person ready to direct the movies what he thinks.
